A rotary union is a mechanical device that allows the transfer of fluids and/or gases to and from rotating equipment. They are utilized in machinery that requires a constant flow of lubrication, air, or other liquids during rotation.

A slip ring is a device that allows the transfer of electrical power, signals and data to and from rotating equipment.

The demands and uses of rotary unions and slip rings are vast, which is why our standard and custom built assemblies are available in numerous material, seal and passage size options. Our unions are available with an integrated electrical slip ring option to transfer power, signal, or data with one complete assembly.  Alternatively, our slip rings are available as a standalone arrangement.
